Without objection, the bill was returned to second reading. Senator Hoffman offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, line 9, following "18.65.765": Insert "if the person notifies the department in writing before the person begins carrying a concealed handgun in this state" Senator Hoffman moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. SENATE BILL NO. 242 was automatically in third reading on reconsideration. The question to be reconsidered: "Shall SENATE BILL NO. 242 "An Act relating to concealed handgun permittees" pass the Senate?"
